Our Managing Partners

Kent & Renee Keel| Managing Partners

Kent and Renee have been life partners and married for 43 years, building a shared journey filled with dedication, expertise, and success. Their professional careers reflect their commitment to making a meaningful impact on both individuals and communities.

Renee’s career began in the financial sector, where she served as a bank loan officer. In this role, she provided capital resources to families and small businesses, empowering them to improve their lives and grow their businesses. Her deep understanding of financial systems and community impact led her to transition into real estate, where she became a successful broker. For the past 20 years, Renee has worked with individuals and investors, helping them locate, acquire, renovate, and sell single-family homes and investment properties. Over the years, she has built a proven track record and strong relationships within the local real estate market, cementing her reputation as a trusted expert.

Kent’s career is equally distinguished. With over 14 years as an IT executive at a Fortune 100 company and several large government agencies, Kent has played a pivotal role in shaping technology strategies for major organizations. Kent’s leadership and vision further expanded to the public sector, where he served as mayor and chair of a regional public transportation committee. In these roles, he worked closely with communities and commercial developers to build essential infrastructure, including rail systems, busways, and multi-family housing across the three largest counties in Washington state.

In 2023, Renee and Kent combined their extensive knowledge and experience to enter the world of real estate investment, founding Kerek, LLC. Their partnership has allowed them to diversify into small multi-family properties, where they leverage their combined strengths in real estate, finance, technology, and public policy. Together, they make a dynamic and well-rounded team, experienced at building relationships and creating value.

Today, Kerek Capital, along with its Advisory Board and a network of dedicated associates, continues to thrive as a strong team of professionals. With their expertise, Kent and Renee help investors realize strong returns in multi-family and commercial assets, creating lasting impact and fostering growth within the communities they serve.
